Full and Happy
I was raised in a Christian home and at the age of thirteen I received the Lord Jesus as my Lord and Savior. I was active in a Christian young people’s group throughout high school and went to a Christian college in Texas. I came to know the ministry of Watchman Nee and Witness Lee as a senior in college through my sister and brother-in-law. Shortly thereafter, I began meeting with the local church.
I have received much help in my Christian life from the ministry of Witness Lee. It has brought me to read the Bible more and understand the Scriptures just like fitting pieces of a puzzle together. This ministry has helped me relate the Scriptures subjectively to my practical Christian living.
This ministry and meeting with the local church have also helped me draw closer to the Lord Jesus throughout the years. My life has become more Christ-centered, seeking Christ Himself instead of merely seeking what the Lord can do for me.
Although my fellowship with other believers before was only with people in my denomination for fear of getting into any doctrinal debates, now I am able to fellowship with other believers regardless of their denominational background. I am able to share the Word, life, and my experience of the Lord Jesus with no motives but to nourish other believers with His Word.
I thank the Lord for this ministry and the local churches. They have made my life full and happy.
